Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AthleteConnex application ("App") available at athlete-connex.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. About AthleteConnex

AthleteConnex is a basketball scouting and recruiting platform that connects scouts, coaches, and athletes. The App allows users to discover, track, and evaluate player talent through advanced analytics, AI-powered scouting reports, video highlights, and collaborative team tools.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use AthleteConnex. Users under 18 should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Not share your login credentials with others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory player information.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute any content without permission.
• Harass, intimidate, or harm other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App.

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (scouting reports, player data, etc.), but grant AthleteConnex a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App to operate and improve the service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you post.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

AthleteConnex offers free and premium subscription tiers. By purchasing a subscription:

• You authorize us (or Apple/Google) to charge you on a recurring basis.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• To cancel, manage your subscription via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

8. Intellectual Property

All App content, branding, design, software, and features are the property of AthleteConnex and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AthleteConnex does not guarantee the accuracy of player data, scouting reports, or AI-generated content. Use of such content is at your own discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AthleteConnex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account by contacting us at support@athleteconnex.com.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the App or email.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
