You can request deletion of your AthleteConnex account and associated data at any time. Below are the available methods, what gets removed, and what may be retained for legal or operational reasons.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
Open the AthleteConnex app and sign in.
Tap your avatar to open Profile.
Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
Confirm the prompt. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Email us
If you can't sign in or prefer to request deletion by email:
Send a message to support@athleteconnex.com with the subject "Delete my account" and the email address registered to your account. We process requests within 5 business days.
What is deleted
Your account and login credentials
Profile information (name, email, avatar, role)
Player profiles and scouting reports you created
Direct messages and conversation history
Watchlists, friend requests, and blocks
Notifications, badges, and quest progress
Athlete self-assessments and journal entries
Team memberships and discussions
What may be retained
Anonymized usage analytics that no longer identify you
Transaction and payment records required by tax and accounting law
Records needed to prevent fraud or abuse, retained as permitted by law
Retained records are kept only as long as legally required and then permanently deleted.
Deletion timing
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Email requests are completed within 5 business days. Deletion is irreversible — once processed, your data cannot be recovered.
